Submit your work

At TRANSITUS, we welcome original, unpublished work from writers, artists, and thinkers exploring themes of transition, identity, memory, and diaspora. Both emerging and established voices are welcome to submit. We read submissions on a rolling basis, though we also issue separate calls for our biannual magazine and anthologies.

All submissions must include a short author/artist biography (50–75 words)

The Publication Process

1. Send it over

You may paste your work into the body of the email or send it as an attachment. No PDFs please.

2. Editorial review

Our editors read every submission and respond within 2–4 weeks.

3. Publication

If accepted, we will notify you and feature your work on our blog, e-magazine or anthology.

4. Payment

Currently, TRANSITUS is an unpaid market run by a passionate team. However, as we grow, securing funding to pay our contributors remains a top priority, and we hope to offer compensation in the near future.
